Stegreif | New Impulses from building practice
The construction industry is subject to constant change. Current issues such as climate change, the shortage of raw materials or the energy transition are constantly bringing new challenges that shape our buildings and the daily work of the stakeholders involved. Young companies and start-ups are trying to develop new approaches to solving these challenges and make the everyday lives of those involved easier.
As part of the impromptu programme, students get to know young companies in the construction and real estate industry and their innovative ideas and thus gain an insight into their work. At the same time, they have the opportunity to engage in direct exchange with the new players from the construction industry. To this end, participants are invited to attend the specialist lectures in the iMPULSE series of events in the winter semester.
In a written assignment, the findings on the innovative solutions and their positive effects on current challenges will be summarised. Finally, the students will reflect on how they assess the future potential of these new impulses in the construction and real estate industry.
The aim of the seminar is to gain insights into new fields of activity for architects, urban planners and project developers. Participation in all lectures of the iMPULSE event series is mandatory to pass the impromptu.
