IGP | Realising sustainability
Nationally and internationally, the issue of sustainability is one of the most important guidelines for the future. But what significance does this have for architecture? What are the requirements for sustainable building and planning in Germany? What do other countries have?
As part of the course work Integral Building Planning (IGP I) in winter semester 20/21, students deal with the laws, standards and funding guidelines for sustainable building in Germany and abroad. On the basis of an existing design work, concrete specifications and funding targets (CO2 and energy optimisation) are analysed, evaluated and implemented with regard to different levels of consideration.
