Social Housing PromotionCopyright: Hagn, Herzog
The affordability of housing is becoming increasingly important politically and socially. In many cities, rents are now so high that they are no longer affordable for low- and middle-income households. As part of a research project on social housing promotion, the political steering systems of selected federal states are being investigated, identified and compared. The overall objective is to analyze and compare the relationships between the regional framework conditions and the political objectives of social housing promotion in the context of realized projects. In this way, strengths, weaknesses and potentials of the specific control systems of the federal states should be emphasized.
