Expert conference on student housing

The housing market for students has been tight for years. Current crises such as rising energy prices and inflation exacerbate the situation even more. An expansion of housing capacities is urgently needed, especially in university towns.
Already last year, the Department of Real Estate Project Development successfully conducted a needs analysis on student housing in Aachen together with the Studierendenwerk Aachen. This year, together with stakeholders from local authorities, politics, universities, student unions, architects, project developers and housing construction companies, we would like to provide impulses, break down traditional thought patterns and discuss new perspectives and potentials of the student housing market.
For this reason, the Department of Real Estate Project Development is organising a specialist conference on student housing at RWTH Aachen University on Monday, 04.12.2023 from 11:30 - 18:00.
The conference will be held in German.
The recognition of the event as further education and professional development has been requested from the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia.
