Workshop "Energy-efficient neighborhoods for the future"

Since autumn 2020, the two reallabs SmartQuart and TransUrban.NRW have been organising a series of workshops in cooperation with the scientific accompanying research Digitalisation Energiewendebauen.
On Wednesday, 27.10.2021, the 3rd digital themed workshop took place on the topic of "Energy-efficient neighbourhoods of the future - What cooperation is needed?". At the beginning of the three-hour workshop, there were informative presentations on the implementation of energy-efficient neighbourhoods and opportunities for stakeholder participation from various perspectives, which gave the approximately 90 participants initial impetus. After a short break, small group discussions at topic tables began. In the format of the digital World Café, representatives from industry, research, municipalities, politics, business and planning worked together and discussed barriers, actors, participation formats and digital neighbourhoods of the energy transition.

We are already looking forward to the next workshop in this series in spring 2022.
